This section covers the different information that is visible when viewing an individual task.
The task information is split into the following sections:
Task Information | Description |
Task Details | This sections contains fields used to store information about the task. Some common fields include Due Date, Task Description, Task Status etc. For more information on Task fields, please see the section on Task Detail Fields. |
Linked Documents | This section enables users to link files from the Documents tab of the case to the task. E.g. a task relating to an Office Action may be linked to the Office Action document for reference. Any documents that have been linked will be listed here. |
Associated Letters | This section is visible if a Standard Template if linked to the task e.g. a filing task may be linked to a letter template to report notify the client. A task can only be linked to a Standard Template if it is part of a pre-set task list. For more information on how to link a Standard Template to a task please see the section on Pre-sets. |
Correspondence | This section is visible if the task is being used to generate a Smart Template e.g. a task can be used to generate an email or letter. This option is only possible if Smart Template functionality is enabled. For more information about Smart Templates, please see the module on Outgoing Correspondence. |
