Once a case is saved within your system different tabs can be used to store information about the case.
These tabs are displayed beneath the case code and short title at the top of the screen.
Click on these tabs to navigate to different screens within a case.
The tab you are currently viewing will be highlighted in a darker grey.
The number displayed next to the Tasks, Charges, Documents, Family, and Commentary tabs is a count that indicates the number of uncompleted items listed on these respective tabs.
Tab Name | Description |
Summary | Provides an overview of updates on the case. |
Details | Stores the main case information which can be updated and edited. |
Tasks | Displays a list of all work and deadlines for the case. |
Charges | Displays a list of any charges that have been added to the case. |
Documents | Stores all files that have been uploaded to the case. These can be previewed and downloaded. |
Family | Displays a list of all cases within the same family. |
Commentary | Enables users to save comments and extra information on the case. |
Contacts | Stores all contacts that have been added to the case. This tab is used to generate correspondence. |
Workflows | This functionality is used by larger firms to manage casework. A preference needs to be enabled for this tab to be available. |
