The ‘Multiple (Un)lock’ option controls which documents are visible within the Client Access Portal.


Note: The Client Access Portal is used to set up accounts for clients to login and view their cases within Equinox. For more information on setting up a Client Access account please see the ‘System Configuration’ module.


By default, all documents are ‘locked’ which means that they will not be visible within the Client Access Portal. It is possible to change this so documents are not locked by default – please contact our support team if you would like to change this.


To update the ‘locked’ status of multiple documents:

  1. Open a case and go to the Documents tab
  2. Click ‘Bulk (un)lock’ in the left hand menu
  3. Using the dropdown option at the top of the document list, select if the new document status is ‘Locked’ or ‘Un-Locked’
  4. Use the tick boxes to choose which files you want to update

> Tick the box next to individual files to select them

OR

> Tick the box at the top of the list to select all files

 5. Click ‘Update’ at the top to the document list


Any documents that are locked with have a padlock symbol next to the document ‘Title’ on the Documents tab.
