When charges are added to a case they will have a status of ‘Billed - No’.
To mark a charge as billed you will need to go through the Equinox billing wizard and generate an invoice.
The billing wizard can be accessed from the Charges tab of a case by clicking the ‘Billing’ button.
(There are other ways to start the billing wizard, please see ‘Billing & Invoicing Options’ for more information).
The invoice is not sent automatically to the client.
Some subscribers choose not to use the invoice generated in Equinox and disregard this invoice. Users may choose to do this if they:
- Generate invoices in a third-party accounting software
- Do not send invoices (In-House IP)
