Before marking a charge as approved users can edit the charge details on the Charge Approval screen.
- Go to the Charge Approvals screen (Finance tab/left hand menu on Charge tab of a case)
- Use the Filters to find particular charges
- Click the pencil icon on the right next to the charge you want to edit
The following information is displayed:
Field | Description |
Original Amount | This cannot be edited on the Charge Approval screen. The amount can be edited when viewing the Details of an individual charge. |
Adjustment | This is an amount to add to the Original Amount. Record an ‘Adjust Reason’ Click ‘Update’
Note: The adjustment amount will be displayed when viewing the individual charge Details. |
Discount | Apply an amount to subtract from the Original Amount Record a Discount Reason Click ‘Update’ |
The Final Amount will update automatically with the new total.
Proceed to mark the charge as Approved or Written Off as Required.
