To delete an Organisation, users would first need to complete the following:
1. Delete or reassign all people at every Location within the Organisation
- Please see ‘Delete a Person’ for more information on deleting People.
- Please see the ‘Person Left Hand Options’ for more information on moving People.
2. Delete or reassign all the Locations within the Organisation
- Please see ‘Delete a Location’ for more information on deleting Locations.
- Please see the ‘Location Left Hand Menu’ for more information on moving Locations.
- Please see the ‘Case Navigation’ module for more information on updating cases.
3. Update any cases where the Organisation is the Client, Associate or other contact
- Please see ‘Updating Case Details’ for more information.
Once the People and Locations have been deleted and any case contacts have been updated, you can delete the Organisation:
- Go to the Address Book
- Search and click on the name of the Organisation
- Click ‘Delete’ beneath the Organisation Details
Note: If any People, Locations or cases are still linked to this Organisation users will see a warning that indicates what information still needs to be updated or removed before the Organisation can be deleted. - On the Summary screen tick the box to confirm the Organisation should be deleted
- Click ‘Delete’ to confirm or click ‘Cancel’ to go back
This action is non-reversible.
