The Equinox template functionality enables users to generate pre-defined correspondence to your case contacts.

There are two templating options in Equinox.

Standard Templates

These templates are created as separate files and generated as .RTF files that can be used as letters or converted to email via the Equinox Microsoft Plugin.

Smart Templates

Smart Templates are created from Elements that combine to produce a piece of correspondence. These templates enable users to generate documents and emails via tasks.

If you have an Office 365 account or use a Microsoft Exchange Server, Equinox can generate drafts and send emails within your email account.

Note: It is possible to use Standard Templates and Smart Templates in conjunction.

Standard Templates differ from Smart Templates as they do not enable users to generate and send emails from Outlook via Equinox.
