Before you can generate correspondence from Equinox you will need to have completed the following:
- Configure/Upload your templates to your Equinox account (see ‘Correspondence Template Overview’)
- Set up your contacts in the Address Book (See ‘Create New Contacts’)
- Link contacts to relevant cases (See ‘Case Contacts Tab’)
Note: Correspondence must be generated to a ‘Person’ within the Address Book. If you do not correspond with a specific individual at a particular Organisation, we recommend adding a generic person to your Address Book Organisation called ‘Sir/Madam’.
Once you have completed the above you can use your templates to generate letters and emails to your case contacts.
Correspondence templates (Standard and Smart) can be generated in 2 ways:
Option | Description |
This option enables users to generate correspondence on an ad-hoc basis from the Contacts tab of a case. | |
This option enables users to generate correspondence from a task that is part of a pre-set task list. For more information please see ‘Pre-set Task Configuration’ and ‘Process a Correspondence Task’. |
