Note: Users require certain permissions to use this functionality.
This option enables two Organisations in the Address Book to be merged into one entity. When two organisations are merged, users can choose which Organisation to keep and which one is deleted.
The Locations, People and cases at the deleted Organisation will be re-assigned to the Organisation being kept.
- Go to the Address Book and click on an Organisation
- Click ‘Merge Organisation’ in the left hand menu
- Type the name of the other Organisation you want to merge into
- Select the Organisation Location and People to keep (the other Organisation will be deleted, and the Location and People will be moved to the Organisation being kept)
- Click ‘Merge’
The Organisation being deleted will be removed. The Location, People and cases of the deleted Organisation will be merged into the Organisation being kept.
Note: This action is non-reversible.
