Address Book contact merge tools are available to merge/move duplicate contacts within the Address Book.
Users require certain permissions to use this functionality. Please speak with your system Admin or contact our Support team for more information on enabling these options.
These tools should be used with caution as the actions cannot be reversed.
A list of these options are provided below:
| Address Book Section | Merge Tool | Description |
| Client, Associate and Other Side Contacts | Merge Organisation | This option enables two Organisations in the Address Book to be merged into one entity. |
| Merge Location | This enables two Locations at any Organisations in the Address Book to be merged into one Location. | |
| Move Location | This enables the Location to be moved to a different Organisation in the Address Book. | |
| Merge Person | This enables two People at any Location in the Address Book to be merged into one Person. | |
| Move Person | This enables the Person to be moved to a different Location in the Address Book. | |
| Copy Person | This enables the Person to be duplicated and saved as a separate Person at another Location. | |
| Applicant, Inventor, Licensee Contacts | Merge Contact | This enables two Applicant/Inventor/LIcensee contacts to be merged into one contact. |
