Associate

These are other IP attorneys/firms that you work with.

Family

This is a group of related cases, often including an international application and the national/regional cases.

 

Also referred to as:

- Associated Cases

History Date

The dates that indicate when certain actions are completed for the case e.g. Filing date, Priority date, Publication date etc.

Case Code

This is the unique reference you use to identify the case.

- Case Reference

- Case Number

Document

Document

These are files that are uploaded to your cases for reference.

Tasks & Deadlines

Task

This is an action or deadline related to a case.

 

Also referred to as:

- Deadlines

- Actions

Pre-Set

A shortening of ‘Pre-set Task List’ which is a list of tasks with pre-configured deadlines within your system.

Finance & Charges

Charge

A fee or billable work that has been completed for a case.

Invoice Preview

This is a draft invoice.

Charge Sheet Item

These are pre-configured charges that are available to add to your cases.
