This article outlines how to move from using Official Offices to Authorities.


Before this functionality can be enabled, your system must use Correspondence Management and Smart Templates.


Note: The Authorities functionality replaces the Official Offices functionality. Both options cannot be used in the same Equinox system.


  1. Contact our support team at [email protected] to request the change
  2. We will set up the existing Official Offices as Authorities within your Address Book
  3. We will create a generic person (sir/Madam) to be available for correspondence on relevant cases
  4. The Authorities will be added to relevant cases based on the country
  5. You can then start customising and setting up your own Authorities
