Using send & save
When you've enabled Send and Save, Equinox's Save to Matter window will open automatically whenever you send an email.
Note: You'll need to restart Outlook after first installing Send & Save and after making any changes to your settings. If you don't restart Outlook every time you make a change, the plugin may not work.
Enable send & save for one user
Go to System > Microsoft Office Plugin Settings
Under User Settings, tick the box next to Send & Save
Click Update
Enable send & save for all your Equinox users
To enable send & save for everyone who's using your Equinox system:
Go to System > Microsoft Office Plugin Settings
Under Global Settings, tick the box next to Send & Save
Click Update
Note: Your organisation can decide which users can update Global Settings, e.g., only Admin users can do this.
Disallow send & save for some users
If you only want to let some of your users use send & save, you must give user permissions to each individual account. You can't set up the global send & save option then exclude one or two users.
Send & save excluded domains
You might not want to save all of your emails to Equinox.
If you know you don't want to save emails from a particular domain, enter the domain details into the Send & Save Excluded Domains box. When the plugin detects a domain that's in your excluded domains box, it won't automatically open the Save to Matter window and prompt you to save that email.
Excluding domains via an individual user account
If domains have been excluded in the User Settings Send & Save Excluded box, these domains will be excluded regardless of whether or not they're also excluded in the Global Settings box. The user preferences override the global preferences in this instance.
Excluding multiple domains
To exclude multiple domains, write the domain in the Send & Save Excluded Domains box as a comma-separated list.
How the plugin works for emails sent to multiple domains
If you're sending an email to multiple addresses, some of which are included and others excluded domains, the plugin will still automatically open the Save to Matter window.
If you're sending an email to multiple addresses, all of which are excluded domains, the plugin will not open the Save to Matter window.
If you're sending an email to multiple addresses, all of which are included domains, the plugin will automatically open the Save to Matter window
