In some cases the charges pulled through by the API may be different from the charges you want to use in your forecasts. You can manually create overrides to enter the correct charge.

You can create an override for a specific rule by clicking the Override button on the right-hand side of the forecast cost breakdown (accessed by clicking on any of the totals).

This will auto-populate the override information with the details of the rule you have selected, and you can amend the name or amounts as applicable.

When an override is created, existing forecast charges that match this rule will be updated to match the new override details, the next time the forecast is generated.

You can also create an overrides using the method below:

  1. Click the Overrides button on the top right of the Forecast screen

  2. This opens the Forecast Overrides popup

  3. Click the Create Override button in the top left

  4. This opens the Override Details window

  5. Enter the amounts you want to apply when actioning this rule

  6. Click Create to add this override to your account

Note: You will need to input the 'Rule' exactly as it is returned via the API. You can download a CSV Charge Export of your forecast which will include the Rule Codes and Rule Names.
