You can now restrict access to cases based on:

•    Inventor

•    Foreign Associate

•    Category and Subcategory

•    Family

•    Client and Applicant

Additionally, filters have been added to key columns in the “Cases viewable by this Ethical Wall policy” report, making it easier to review and manage visibility.

A new “Created from” field has been introduced to charges, helping users understand how a charge was added. This field will indicate whether the charge originated from:

•    Chargesheet (without timer)

•    Timer (from Chargesheet)

•    Component (pre-set task list or workflow)

A new system preference has been added to make Case Subcategory a required field when creating a new case.

To enable this setting, go to:

System tab → System Preferences → Create Matter Settings

Then tick the option: ‘Validate Sub Category Selected’
